Your test examples are always with popular style music (rock, folk or other), so it's very limited for me, I listened to it too, but when I was aged 13 to 16 :-). ;-) .... It’s a shame then that you didn’t make the test with learned music: symphonic works by Bartok («Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta"), from Stravinsky («The rite of spring»), from Mahler (any symphony), or piano works from Schoenberg (Suite for Piano, Op.25), from Debussy («Et la lune descend sur le temple qui fut»), from Liszt («Bagatelle sans tonalité», from Boulez (sonata no 1 or 2), or with quartets by Shostakovich, Carter, Ligeti, etc. In short, works a million times more complex and rich structurally, on level contrapuntal, harmonic, etc. A simple youth score of a Beethoven quartet is a revolution in scholarly complexity and a revolution in musical writing compared to any popular hit which seems like music written by children in comparison. Above all : the learned music is a challenge for any audiophile restitution, . Let me make this comparison: it’s the difference between Einstein and a rap singer. Or perhaps you could test these headphones with worksfrom the great jazz period of the 20s, 30s and 40s because these compositions are also very rich (any recording by Oscar Peterson for example). Last point: for listening to the voice or the timbre of the voice itself -- I mean for example the voice of narrators in documentaries, the voice of hosts for TV shows, etc. -- what result does this helmet give? Veiled ? Punched? Matt ? Very defined ? Etc. The sound I really like a lot is the Beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro (and I hate the narrow sound of his cousin the Beyerdynamic DT 900 pro X).

How these sounds with i comparison with Sennheiser ie 200 in india the price gap between these two iems is around 100 dollars..will these justfy the price gap..

I’m really sorry for saying this & I don’t want to be rude or disrespectful. But you need to be the guy in the background, as your voice is excruciatingly annoying. I’ve tried to watch this video 3 times & struggled to make it through due to your high pitched shrill. It’s a shame as you seem to be the only person who has reviewed these IEM’s. If you can manipulate your voice somehow , use AI or some-other method with a mic. As I don’t want to crush your dreams as a young kid. Good luck & please take this as positive criticism continuing with your work 🙏🏾

Happy to hear this. It is so rare to get headphones that have decent bass and warm sound signature, especially at this price point.

Mine have even less of the color. Looks like a mammoth. But it sounds fantastic.

"upper budget"? is that a euphemism for above $1000?

How close are these to Audeze LCD2's though? Not speculation - the latter are really, as in really unreliable. Almost every Audeze owner will suffer from one failure or more during ownership.

This is my personal experience : There are 3 types of cables. 1. Stock cables : most basic, minimum 2. Xx cables : I will elaborate Xx later. 3. Super expensive cables : for the elites aka golden ears. Meaning unless you have golden ears, your billions in the bank can't give you the sound that only golden ears can hear. OK, let's now talk about Xx. This range of cables has a wide price range. Can be usd 50 to usd 900. But, you won't hear the difference unless you have golden ears. 😊 A brand new usd 50 cables maybe better sounding than a 20 year old usd 900 cable due to wear and tear ( aging) and due corrosion or oxidation. 😊 This is my personal learning. Maybe it only applies to me. 🤭 🤭 🤭

Super tough purchase decision when this model will be replaced with another in 6 months and the price on the second hand market drops like a brick. I’m a hard no with any Abyss products. Way too expensive price point with Chi-Fi level replacement frequency.

If you can't explain something but choose to mention it and use your lack of engineering knowledge as an excuse it doesn't help your credibility.

Reviews aren't especially useful without comparisons to other competing headphones.

I look for the same thing when I test headphones. So for that I use MJ song, wanna be starting something. Also a cranking sound in the background , around 3:19 , 3:25.

I listened to the song on Bose Ultra. Couldn’t hear the background sound you’re talking about. I’m sure if I switch to Sennheiser 600 or 660S2, I’ll hear it. Never heard the song before. Sounds good. Great for testing.

I bought these headphones based on youtube reviews. These headphones are not good. I had some 1970's sennheisers in the 70's, and they were good. I like crisp definition and punch. These phones are soft and spungy. NOT GOOD!! These are garbage. What are you youtubers doing?? WTF?? These tubers are profit oriented. I learned the hard way.
